TAAG Angola Airlines passengers now have access to a new international mobile connectivity solution, enabling them to purchase international mobile data plans simply, quickly and entirely digitally.

According to the airline, the initiative provides immediate internet access across more than 190 destinations, without requiring travellers to replace their physical SIM card. Already operational, the new service stems from a strategic partnership between TAAG and Kolet, a technology company specialising in eSIM services.

Initially, Kolet’s offering is being promoted to passengers through pre-boarding messages sent by SMS and email in every market served by TAAG, except Angola. The solution will later be incorporated into further digital customer touchpoints, including the Online Check-in and Manage My Booking platforms, making the service even more accessible and intuitive.

The partnership forms part of TAAG’s strategy to increase ancillary revenue by offering complementary services that add value to the passenger experience and help diversify the airline’s revenue streams.
